any idea what it means?
I could really use some help.
For some reason i think it could be linked with the fact that i'm not able to access my voice mail at all
it's a new phone
Samsung galaxy s3

It very well may be linked to that issue. I would start there and then see if the icon goes away. If it doesn't go away after regaining access to your voicemail then post here again and we'll try other things to figure it out. I've personally never seen it on any of my devices. though.

Nothing in the drop down area when i click the notification area. I have no idea how to fix my voice mail it doesn't have the blue 'cassette' icon and holding 1 only takes me to save a speed dial

It looks like a phone with a line through it, so maybe data roaming?

I would try calling your carrier to get it fixed. They can usually reset it.

Haven't seen that icon posted about before. Do you have a 3rd party calling app (ex. Viber, Skype, etc) installed?
