I'm having issues making the VZW S3 (software ver 4.1.2) and bluetooth play nice with the new Pioneer head unit.
It works fine with making and receiving calls. It works fine (including control via the HU) with the Pandora function. It works fine with the generic BT audio function. Unfortunately, it won't work with the unit's app function that would allow me to use TuneIn, iHeartAuto, etc. which includes viewing the metadata on the receiver and using it to control the apps.
I get a message, "BT error. Press BAND to retry." When I do that it attempts to connect for around a second and then I get the error message again. This is really frustrating because that feature was what sold me on this unit.
So far, I've unpaired and repaired a million time to no avail and am open to any suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
