I have recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to the S5. Upon doing so, my external microSD card was put in my new S5.
However, when going to my Gallery, all pictures are showing EXCEPT those of which I had created specific albums. I had all my pictures set to save to the microSD card/external storage. Does anyone know of a way to retrieve the pictures off the SD card or have they disappeared permanently? I know some months ago when I had to change to a larger microSD card, the same thing happened and I had to re-insert the microSD card back into my S3 at the time, move all the pictures out of the albums, unmount the microSD card, insert SD card into the computer and then save them. Although I'm now unable to do that because the S3 phone screen is damaged and is not viewable and the touch screen doesn't work as well, hence the purchase and upgrade to an S5.
