I was able to use Google Hangout SMS and the GalaxyS3 messaging apps without conflicts until my last Samsung update - that makes me pick one as the default app and deactivates the other one... no nice
I like the Galaxy S3 messaging app because it is integrated with other apps but does not have emojis... any suggestions on how to keep both actives or recommendations of a better texting app?
    Thank you,

A lot of people like Textra. You can try that.
You seem to be new. If so, welcome to the forums!

Chomp SMS is also good (same authors) and emoji support can be added.
