I hadn't really used the video recording feature on my S3 much, but started to a few weeks back. I am getting a buzzing sound in video playback that I recorded, mostly in the left speaker. When I zoom in, the buzzing all but disappears. When I keep the video zoomed out, the buzzing stays. Called Virgin Mobile, who eventually had me do a factory reset on the phone. Nothing changed. It is still under warranty, so they shipped out another unit. After the new phone was all set up, it was making the same sound. Thought maybe it might be my SD card, so recorded video right to the internal memory and the buzzing was still there. I use a ZeroLemon extended life battery, so I swapped that out with the battery it came with and have the same thing. I even uninstalled every possible app on my phone to see if one of them was the culprit, and the buzzing is still there. Thought maybe I might be getting some interference from something in my house, so I took the phone out into the middle of the woods, and I still have the buzzing. I remembered that I had recorded a video back in February and stuck it on YouTube, and there is no buzzing on it what so ever. My girlfriend also just got a Virgin Mobile S3, and the audio on her recorded video is exactly the same. I found a video that I recorded and uploaded to YouTube shortly before I was upgraded to Kitkat, and there is zero background noise. Virgin Mobile is sending me yet another phone, and I'd really rather not go through all this again. Kinda at a road block as to what to try next.
