Why has my Galaxy S3 suddenly stop receiving email?

Accessing email account

My Galaxy S3 has suddenly stopped receiving emails. Last emails received were on 10/7/2014. I have received many emails since then on my PC and they are normally on my phone also. What would cause this problem? Would greatly appreciate any assistance to remedy the problem.

Verizon. Has been working perfectly for 18 months. Suddenly works no longer, but does work on PC
