Hi, I bough a Galaxy S3 on Ebay it says GT-I9300 but it has 2 GB ram and Dual Core so I don't think it's really I9300, but when I connect to kies it identify as GT-I9300, but when I go to Download mode it shows me Model Name: SGH-I747 and custom, I tried to root many times but I bricked my phone, and with good luck I fix my phone, I just want to know which is my version of Galaxy S3, and I just want to upgrade my Android version from 4.1.1 to another better but stock rom only, without brick my phone (again). Thanks a lot

The 747 has 2GB of RAM. I'd say that someone flashed a 9300 ROM to it. My Note 3, an N900A, identifies as an N9005, because I have an N9005 ROM in it, but it's still an N900A, and I can run any N900A ROM in it. (In my case, rooting is the same, but you get a ROM for the phone, you root for the ROM - IOW, if you want to flash a ROM, you flash one for the 747, but if it's running a 9300 ROM, you root it as a 9300 [since it's the ROM you're rooting, not the hardware]).
