why is my samsung s3 still stuck on logo?

Hello, i have been using a samsung galaxy s3 i9300 for the past 2 years.t recently it got stuck on start up. i wiped the cache and also selected wipe data/reset in the recovery mode and rebooted. but its still stuck! PLEASE HELP!!!

Pull the battery and let it sit for a few minutes then put the battery back in and try to boot back up.
