Re: trying to point an old email from google to a new e-mail account google
There are 2 account types in an Android phone, the Google account the phone is associated with (the one apps are sent to from Play Store, etc.) and email accounts, which can be any email account on any server. So if you have an email account you want to get on the phone, add an email account, give it the address and password and it'll usually find the information it needs and set the account up in the phone. so you can have Yahoo, Hotmail, Exchange Server - almost any type of email account(s) on the phone. There's no need to point anything to anything, or forward anything. (You usually use your Google account login and password to set up one email account, but you don't have to if you don't want email going to that account, or you don't care about the spam that's all you expect to get.)
