I keep getting a pop up page of a advertisement

Welcome to Android Central! That usually isn't a virus--it's usually due to adware (if the popup is appearing while on your homescreen) or due to the website you're visiting (if it's only while you're in the browser).

If the popup is appearing while on your homescreen, you may have to uninstall apps one by one until the behavior goes away; or you could do a factory reset, then reinstall apps one by one, watching to see if the behavior starts again.

If the popup is appearing only while browsing, then avoid those websites, and definitely don't click on any of the links in the popups.
