I have a att Sim card from my pay as u go phone. I recently acquired a us cellular galaxy s 3 phone. Are they comparable ?

US Cellular is CDMA, AT&T is GSM - different technologies. The phone won't work on AT&T. (It might work on Straight Talk or Net10 on Verizon - check at Straight Talk Compatibility Test to see if your particular handset is acceptable [it's up to Verizon]).
