S4 Taking 'GIFs' in Auto Mode?

Hello all, new to the Galaxy S4 and came across something very unexpected. While shooting in Auto Mode (Using burst sometimes) it seems that it sometimes takes GIFs. I can't find anything about this on the internet and everything says gifs come from animation mode, which I am not using. Maybe 'auto mode' thinks because someone moved a bit it should be animated? So it automatically changes it to a GIF? If so, I can't figure out how to turn this off as I now have about 1/10th of my photos moving and looking very silly.

The GPe doesn't do this mode.

After a ton of digging, I found out this is in fact not the S4 doing it, rather it was a functionality of google+ when it auto backed up my pictures... How odd that it does this...
