Bluetooth Earpiece

When i receive a call while i am paired to my Bluetooth earpiece the ringtone that comes though on the earpiece is not the same ringtone that is set up on my phone, in fact the ringtone that plays on my earpiece is not even listed in my phone. But when the same Bluetooth earpiece is paired up with other makes of mobile phones IE; Nokia, Apple the ringtone that plays on the earpiece is the same one that plays on that phone, have looked though all settings for Sounds/ Ringtones but can not find anything to change. Note; have used Nokia phones for 18 years until last week so i am new to the Android software.
