Is the S4 mini very long ?

I measured the ratio of height to width of some samsung phones
Ace : 1.876
S4 : 1.95
S3: 1.95
Grand : 1.86

S4 mini : 2.03 !!

It has the same width as an Ace but has much greater length.
My question is does it feel like a LONG tv remote controller?
Considering it has the same width of the tiny Galaxy Ace

Does anyone know dimensions of the actual screen?

But just as suspected. The s4 mini is freakishly long. (Actually should have been dubbed S4Slim)
My main use was watching movies in a reasonably sized handy phone.
The ratio is just wrong. its even longer than the standard 16:9 movie ratio which will cause a large portion at the sides to stay black when I play the movies.

Wrong, you'll have no black sides in the viewing area, because the screen is 960x540 pixels, precisely 16:9 ratio. But you will have a sort of 'freakishly' large phone front area on either side, what I call large chin and forhead areas. The big advantage in my opinion is S4 Mini's tiny weight for decent screen size (3.77 oz : 4.3 in.).
