wont receive any push notifications

Is there a such thing like settings for push notifications.. Because my phone wont receive any APP push notifications.. It is kind of annoying if u cant get the notification when someone has talked to you on FB messenger or someone added you as a friend on facebook..

What to do?

Try going into the application manager in settings and make sure you don't have don't show notifications checked, or try to look in the app's settings under notifications.
