hi, I started an upload of my entire camera folder from Samsung mini 4 in the gallery and clicked upload to google drive. There were about 300 files. It uploaded about 6 of them and the rest of them it still shows "waiting to upload". Now it's been 1 day and nothing has changed. the camera folder is no longer visible in the gallery also. What should I do? Pls help.

Welcome to Android Central! Is there any reason why you're uploading to Google Drive and not to your Google Photos? The latter is generally more convenient, in my opinion. https://support.google.com/photos/answer/6193313?hl=en

Do you still see the photos in the /DCIM/Camera directory when using the My Files app?

I have the same problem. I have about 160 files that either say incomplete upload or Waiting to Upload, but they never do. It's been 3 days now. I thought when I got home from my trip, and got to better WiFi service, it might fix itself. But no. The reason I was uploading the photos to Google Drive was to put them into a private Google site for parents to see what's been happening on our trip. Now, there is a whole day missing.

By the way, I have already deleted those photos from my phone gallery. Is there any way to restore them?

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry for the delayed response. If you physically deleted the photo files from the phone, then they're gone, I'm afraid. If you deleted them in the Google Photos app, though, you can swipe in from the left and tap the Trash icon to see if they're still recoverable. This is not possible using the stock Gallery app, though.
