Build a bridge and get over it. If you don't like it because of its shell, move on. The improved features and performance as well as Smart Scrolling and Smart Pause are more than worth it. I am going to put a Defender case on it anyway. Samsung appears to be focusing on internals this go around as per usual.

Here's what I want from the actual announcement - Samsung announces a device, a pre-order is available right after the announcement, and gives a hard release date within one to three weeks of 14 March 2013 that puts this device on most major carriers as quickly as possible.

Android 4.2, A non-AMOLED display (or maybe not?), Keep the size manageable and I also really hope that the GS4 has a better camera

I want my phone S4 to play music in my car. That's the reason, I had to return S3 bcose I was not able to play music in my Nissan Murano. I tried all apps and various tricks as suggested online but it never works out for me. Is this issue gonna be fixed in Galaxy S4?
You can't connect it via an audio cable with two male ends?

Does it take longer to charge a phone wirelessly than with a wired connection?
Yes, roughly 150%-200% longer though you will hear varying (and exaggerated) numbers on either side of that.

Is that 150%-200% the average time or 150%-200% more than the average time? (1.5-2.0*x) or (1.5-2.0*x+x)?

Believe it or not, cars are starting to be released without Aux ports for audio. They are relying on Bluetooth and USB ports.
I lease my cars for 12 months a time and almost every car I drive doesn't work properly with Android for some reason. The tags don't show up.

Thats absolutely not true maybe it is if u get some knock off charger, the official nexus 4 wireless orb charges the phone in almost the exact same time as a wired connection

I was wondering what the calculation was. So if a normal charge is 2 hours (to make numbers easy), is he saying it's 2+ 3 to 4 = 5 to 6 or it's 2 + 1 to 2 = 3 -4. The extra 2 hour spread is what I'm curious about.

Those features are dead on arrival as well. Doesn't work in the dark and will be gimmicky as hell.

Awesome....so car companies are ignoring Occam: The most simple solution is usually the best.

I asked my wife if she wanted a Nexus 5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, Motorola X or an HTC One... she said, "what?"

    Obviously X = 2.

I'd like to see improved battery life. I'm pretty torn between HTC One, Galaxy Note II, and Galaxy S IV. So far it seems Note II will be the clear winner, but not having played with one in person, I'm not sure if I'll enjoy the size lol.

Also, a great camera, built-in wireless charging, better emoji implementation, and not having used a Galaxy device since Epic 4G on Sprint (Galaxy Nexus currently), I'd like to see lock screen notifications sort of like the iPhone. Not sure if any of these are already in current phones or not lol.

Well...yes and no...I understand the next General Motors car model is called "The Occam"...

Regarding the extra time for charging wirelessly, my experience using the Palm Touchstone was that it was nearly identical...maybe as much as 10% faster wired than wireless, but pretty much the same. I'm assuming the Qi standard is even more efficient than the older Palm Touchstone inductive charging.

How about regular software updates, I mean, your launching your flagship model in the states, and then we get f'd on updates.
    That's your Carrier's fault... not Samsung's.

The leaks already show the battery is a 2600mA battery. Battery life is going to be poor.

Can you elaborate? That seems to be the biggest battery they've used other than the Note 2. That coupled with a better, more efficient processor and software optimization should give this the longest battery life of any Samsung device released to date. Am I missing something?

Software is the same as before - nothing new so its still going to drain battery.
