WOW,really loving all the pics I'm on verizon and my girls update is in the middle of may sucks to have to wait until the 30th she will love this phone. she has the bionic and wants a good camera and this will blow her away love all you can do with it . keep up the photos I want more

Here are some pictures I personally took with my phones, and put together for comparison... All pictures were taken on auto setting, unless otherwise specified. I did my absolute best to make sure that I wasnt favoring either phone in any way when shooting. Same times of the day, same angles, same lighting.
I am amazed at how so many people keep denying what these pictures clearly show. ; ) There is a difference between reality and wishful thinking, folks.
Here are some pictures I personally took with my phones, and put together for comparison... All pictures were taken on auto setting, unless otherwise specified. Now try Rich tone (HDR) mode. If it's what I think it is the camera will take 2 or 3 shots with varying exposures, combine all shots into one, choosing the best exposed "areas" of the image into ONE.
Normally HDR stands for High-dynamic-range. The idea is to take a normally metered shot, then underexpose the next shot by one-two f-stops and overexposure the last shot by one-two f-stops. Special software samples all three images and chooses the best exposed areas creating one final image. Normally its necessary the camera is tripod mounted to take exactly the same franes but with different exposures.
See what happens !! I don't have a S4 yet ... grrr.

Hmmm the iPhone 4S has some really good photos in that one (somehow)....my bro also has a 4S and comparing, mine was much better...not sure how ur iPhone photos got like that but thats pretty good

Just a few pictures i snapped at a friends bbq today.
* I couldn't figure out how to rotate them. They are normal on my desktop but all horizontal when I upload them. If someone can figure out how to rotate them please let me know. Thanks.

When the other dude thanked you it provided links to the full resolution versions somehow. It is incredible the detail in these pictures. Here is the link to that last one:

If you look at the full resolution you can read the text on the propellers (pretty impressive), but even more impressive you can read the street sign that is framed by the propellers.
I was really blown away by the detail.
When the other dude thanked you it provided links to the full resolution versions somehow. It is incredible the detail in these pictures. Here is the link to that last one:

Ultra low light...
Let me set the lighting for you. It is 2am so no light from windows. All lights in the house turned OFF besides the overhanging desk lamp.
First pic to give example of just how dark it is. Notice the lamp at top back lighting the coffee mug. Notice that the light is also facing away from the for ground of the image.
Now we pan down to the for ground and take one more.
This is full auto folks. Night mode turned off. Image stability turned off. Handheld. All settings out of the box untouched. Unedited.
Noisy? Yes. But this is iso 1000 and 1/15 shutter.
Who says the S4 can't take low light shots?

My update was sept 23 and they moved it up for me keep calling them I called 3 different times till a manager gave the ok.

This is BY FAR one of the sickest pictures i saw on a cellphone, made last week with my S4.
The details on his head are so crisp..

Ha chandler does as well, but my wife's last cat was a tabby that also had 4 white socks and she named him "socks" so we had to pick something different for this guy hahaha
