I heard that Canada will be getting the 16GB version, I live in Toronto and this is definitely not enough for me. I plan to have alot of games on it and the os itself will take quite a bit of that 16gb. Does anyone know if the 32 or 64gb versions will come out later? (I need it by June 20th) Please let me know!

No one knows, you can always add a 64gb micro sd card, but I don't think games will work on it.

My understanding is that a 32GB version will be announced down the road (how far down that is, we have no idea) but that the 64GB is a no-go for Canada.

I would say wait it out at least a month (if you can) for the 32GB to show up. AT&T at least acknowledges it on their page saying "32GB Coming Soon!" so I just have to wait for "soon".

The reason Samsung decided to go 16GB only for Canada was because with the S3, there was no demand for the 32GB version in Canada

Why people dedicate their phones to "gaming" is beyond me. Just use it as a phone and a game here and there. Not "I need 128GB for gaming every hour of the day!!". Just buy a playstation vita.

I mean who can afford a 32GB GS3 or GS4 in Canada given the prices they charge and 3 year contracts. Might as well go to Gitmo.

The 3 year contract is such a *****, the worst part is Fido stacks contracts so when Fido held a promotion for early upgrades, I decided why not and took the plunge then later on I found out my contract was actually going to be 50 months. I unleashed hell on the phone but they wouldn't let me return the phone nor reverse the changes...

Thanks everyone for replies! I really appreciate it. Oh and by gaming, I didn't mean I was going to game on it 24/7 and dedicate my device only to that lol, I just meant that I simply would be gaming and because of that, 16GB would probably not be enough since they take alot of room.

I feel if you are planning on keeping it for 3 years its definitely worth it to buy it at retail and get the one that has storage to meet your needs.

I just read 2 articles on the above. The biggest draw back to the 16GB model is the amount of bloat ware and storage. After standard software is loaded less than half the 16 GB left for dedicated none transferable programs and storage. In other words you are actually using an 8GB phone. And no you can't transfer to SDCard. A lot of data and programs will not work from SDCard.

It is not 16 GB .- It is 8 GB only, what makes all offering these phones big swindlers
The rest of the memory is occupied by Operating System and pre-downloaded applications.
This amount of memory is not enough , it's nothing.

If you're serious, I'm sorry but that is just a dumb comment. "Gee let me think, I can either pay for and carry around one device perfectly capable of handling gaming as well as other functions if it only had the memory, or I can pay for 2 expensive devices and carry them both around all the time." The logic behind wanting more space to make the most of your device is beyond you, really? Seems like common sense to me, and probably everyone else reading this.
