I turned developer mode on the phone (settings>about phone tap build number 7 times) but was wondering how to turn it off.

Near the top right of the screen, does it say " ON " in blue & white? You should be able to tap on that or slide it to off.

Mine has a green on off switch up in the right-hand corner.

Re: How to turn developer mode off

I need help with this as well. I have searched everywhere but can't find a way to hide the developer options from settings.

I'm on the same boat!

I know how to turn it off with the On/Off toggle. But I like to know how to actually hide it back the way it was before I activated it!

I would think that if you do a hard reboot you are actually bringing the phone back to factory therefore, the developer option should be hidden. This is just a guess.

Are you also having problems with changing your lock screen security options?

Yes, at the end that's what I did! :banghead:

But I love to know how to undo it without doing a Factory Reset!

No, I don't think I do.
Are you having problems with that as well? What exactly is your problem?

I'm trying to change the lock screen setting to a swipe instead of a pattern but all of the options are greyed out. Here's a pic

It reads that those options were disabled by an administrator.

Did you set up an admin password on your device?

I don't think so. I just made a pattern password on my device. I'm going to unmount my SD card and clear the certificates and see if that fixes it.

You might want to do a factory reset too. That might fix your problem.

Re: How to turn developer mode off

I don't really like it because after that I have to re install all my stuff back, and it isn't just a little bit! :banghead:

But sometimes you have to do a factory reset. :)
