Battery life......

This was my battery for yesterday/today.. (before I had to switch phones)..
previous one i posted on a different thread I was able to squeeze out 6h on screen time, but that was because I had my phone connected to my computer for 10 minutes to move pictures and what not around (cause someone said my battery picture was fake lolz)
anywho I get a good use of the phone.. but since i got a new one (still S4) i'm guessing i'll have to condition it again.. and see if it gets the same as my previous phone..

Honestly I have never seen Google services do that...it's almost as if your phone is trying to constantly download something or run some action over the network and it isn't working. Do you have a custom rom or root? Have you installed any apps not from Google play? Any suspect apps you have downloaded with a lot of ads? Check your Google sync and make sure it is not syncing every 2 minutes or something lol. Also perhaps download a wake lock app detector and see if some rogue app is draining your battery. These are the only things I can think of this late after watching iron man 3, so I hope it helps or you can figure it out. Let us know.
Just a heads up on portable battery chargers, the new S4 supports 2amp charging which is very quick compared to S3 1amp. There are only a few portable batteries out there that support 2amp output, check stats, but it's definitely worth it for nearly 2x faster charging times.
Personally I'm using Mycharge Peak 6000 everything is built in including cables and the iPhone 30pin connector supports 2amp charging... Just need a 30pin female to micro use male adapter
I have used Juice Defender on previous phones and my new S4 and I am getting unbelievable battery life. Yesterday I was surprised I used the phone (starting at 8am) for about 3 hours of talk time, have sync turned on for numerous things, didn't have 4G turned on, I listened to about 2 hours of music and 1 hour of talk radio, checked Big Fish Casino 5 times and played couple of hands and when I went to bet at 10pm still had 28% left. Maybe Juice is doing it, but had Juice on my S2 and never got this good of battery performance. I also don't have Power Saving Mode turned on. Maybe I am lucky or the battery use is very good?

got to try out the s-beam feature as well as well as other features today.
Pretty happy with this. but ive had better screen time before with my other S4.
I do want to know if in my second picture the "awake" & "screen on" graphs arent lining up is normal?

I turn off the things I don't use (GPS, auto sync/auto update apps on wifi) but I will turn them on if I need it.
I have air gesture off most times because I haven't used them yet. My screen during the day is like a little more than halfway brightness (no auto).
I do power saving at night when I go to bed or if I know I'm not gonna use it (like for example played volleyball at the beach so I turned power saving on as well as turned off wifi because owe had terrible signal)
And I make sure to kill all apps that I stop using.
Other than that I use it a LOT for instagram/social media and taking pictures/videos and I play small games like candy crush (lol and other games like that) I do browse the web too.
Oh I have the screen set on movie mode. If that helps I don't know.
And prior to using it like this, when I got it the battery was at 50% so I let it drain to 1% and then did a full recharge to 100% and then went about my day.

Ahh that should do it lol I have my brightness on almost full and most settings on...great battery life!
The Google Services is probably Auto Sync which you can turn off and then whenever you open an app it'll synced just that app and not everything all the time at once.

These screens are depressing. The highest battery life screen shots are missing one key thing that a CELL PHONE is used for.... Phone calls. Hardly anyone has the phone call listed. The ones that actually use the phone to make calls, get the crappiest battery life.
