So far, the average age of the group is 34. This only includes those that gave their ages.

49 here. And yes my daughter is turning 13 at the end of the month and she is getting an iPhone 5 for her BD. Spoiled and tech savvy. Just like her dad, lol.

56 here. I remember in 4th grade we had to stand up in class and state what we 'wanted to be when we grew up'. I said, 'a computer programmer'. That was 1965. I became a nurse, now retired and a full time geek. It only took me 48 years. :p

I did become a computer programmer, but I'm not sure I knew what one was in 1965. Then again..... My dad was in charge of the first Univac 1 computer in non-military use.

I remember Tandem and Unix computers, got you all beat as my kids are older than most of you. I bought them a 386 25mhz computer with a 40 MB harddrive we thought was huge.

21, here. Got my first cellphone when I was 15, because I had a job and was paying my part of the bill. It was a sprint katana, razor rip off. Upgraded to the blackjack 2 a year later, broke it when I was 17 and didn't get a new phone until I was 18. Had a little cricket phone texting with t9. Got "tech-savvy" with an LG optimus, then an iPhone 3g, then a tmobile sidekick 4g, and now here I am on a droid DNA. Definitely the most high SPEC'd phone I've ever owned. I don't have an s4, but I thought I'd play along :)
