I am using uTorrent and have it set to store d/l to my sd card download folder. I tried d/ling a 14 Gb file it went to phone storage and I could not find it listed in any files. I then checked size of uTorrent app it was holding all the d/l the only way to free up my phone storage was delete uTorrent and I reinstalled it. Please help this is my first Samsung Galaxy and I love this s4.

Provided you have a 16gb phone, the transfer probably didn't complete because 9gb are actually available due to OS and preinstalled. I dunno what you're downloading that's 14gb to a phone, but that's probably your issue - it exceeds your internal memory. If you have a 32gb phone, perhaps it is simply a failed download or an unrecognizable file. Like I said, 14gb for one file to to a phone is odd, so I'd presume it just doesn't recognize it. I don't have any experience with uTorrent - I stay away from that stuff - I'm simply assuming the basics of what could have gone downhill.

You do realize that you are using an enormous amount of data? I hope you're on an unlimited plan. You would need a memory card on your phone to download a file that size.

Other than a blu ray video, I've never seen a file that large. I have no idea why you would want that on your phone but you will need a memory card to do so

spring for faster home internet and save yourself the headaches of using your phone...so much can go wrong when downloading a file that size to your phone not to mention the 15 minutes or more to transfer to your computer. Although your LTE is faster the time to transfer it makes a wash...unless you have dial up...

If you get a Coule of movie bundles (Lord of the rings trilogy) they'll be around that size.

You could just use the S4 as a hotspot and tether your computer to it, assuming your account is provisioned for it.
