This was posted inside the GSMArena Audio Quality thread but I'd thought I would create a new thread for greater visibility.
Basically, at a certain volume level with impedance loads below 15 ohms, there is severe audio distortion. This means that depending on the loudness of the songs you play, you are likely to hear a crackling noise at many volume levels.
