Screen turns on when fully charged

I charge my phone every night. When I wake in the morning, the screen of the phone is on. It seems as if the screen turns on after it charges to 100%. I have concerns about decreasing the life span of the screen or burn in. Anyone else have this issue?

I don't have an S4 but my Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 does that when it reaches a full charge. I've actually noticed quite a few Sammy devices do that too. I haven't noticed anything wrong with the screen though but I also don't remember it staying on the whole time.

I hate this, did you find a fix for that? I have to wake up walk to my wife's side of the bed to turn the screen off everynight.....I like it pitch black when I sleep.
I haven't been able to find a fix for it tho....
