I just bought my GS4 on Verizon, and i noticed something quite irritating for me compared to every other GS4 I've seen so far. There is no quick toggle at the top of the notification area to turn WiFi on and off, but rather a giant ongoing notification that when pressed takes me into the WiFi settings of the phone. Is there a way to change this? I went to notification settings under 'display' but found no WiFi toggle there either. I posted some screenshots of what i see. Let me know if there is anyway to fix or change this.

That's so odd. Why would Verizon remove it?

I'm assuming you'll be looking for a way to replace that lost function. If you and don't mind putting more widgets on your home screen, Power Toggles may be of interest to you. That's it at the top below.

The urge to use the quick toggles in the notification area will subside in a few days or so. I'm not sure if it has been updated to be 100 percent compatible with the latest OS update but I'm sure it will be.

I have the S3 on AT&T and this happened when going from ICS to JB.
The quick toggle for mobile data vanished. So I went looking for a solution and found PT.

Yeah it is terribly inconvenient, i don't get why they would do that. I don't see the benefit for Verizon.

Daniel, they did that with the Note 2 as well which pissed me off. Stupid. I assume they also crippled the continuous home screens and app drawer (which nearly caused me to return the phone). If you ROOT you can add both of those items back very easily, or just use the above suggestion on a non rooted phone. Verizon is foolish in this aspects.
