S Memo and Story Album stopped working error on saving.
Any idea?

I have the same problem, although mine occurs when im in the S Memo and when I try to change the Highlight Styles/Settings.. That's when the " S memo has Stopped" note appears

I think i have the solution!!

Go to Settings>Application Manager>ALL>S Memo

then click "Clear Data"



When I re-Open my S memo, the highlight/drawing stuff no longer causes the app to crash.
I hope this helps.




PS: we have the Same unit, Samsung Galaxy S4, 4.4.2..

Regretfully, clearing data did not work: any attempt to edit an existing memo results in a pop-up, "Loading... Please wait," that never ends! Force close doesn't work either; it requires a phone restart to clear the pop-up. Also, this broken Samsung app (bloatware) cannot be deleted, reinstalled, restored, or in any other way fixed. I think the only solution is to disable this buggy app and switch my saved memos to an add-on memo app, unless someone has a better idea.
