    I cant tell either, but since you have to punch up the widget to get any useful information whatsoever, I find it less than useful since the relevant info is just one long home button press away regardless of what screen you are on. Rather not have it taking up prime screen real estate.

    It's not so much to access the active applications page as it is to quickly see how many applications I have running in the background. And I was wondering why it would change to red every now and then.

    The reason it turns red is there is an app using up resores tap it see what apps running and kill the apps and it will go green again
