Ordered three of the Ginovo metal back covers. I bought silver, blue, and red.

Silver arrived today. Looks very similar to the stock backs covers, but they are not plastic. Give the phone a little more weight - any sexiness :p

I ordered each cover for less than $4, but it appears they've now gone up to a out $8. Check em out.

Just read a few reviews of this product and it would appear that this back isn't completely metal.

Granted this makes sense because otherwise it would be hard to make them compatible with the overall plastic build of the device.

Is there a specific way to test the signal? If you tell me how to, I'll test it cover on and cover off.

As for the added thickness, if it did add any, it's not noticeable to my eye. But it definitely gives a little more weight to it - gives the phone a less flimsy/more expensive feel.

I read some reviews that said the NFC doesn't work with these covers on due to the material. I purchased them anyway, I don't use NFC (don't even keep it on).

I like them because I don't like using cases on my phones and with a bunch of these laying around, I won't feel as weary about scratching the back. You can certainly scratch these too, but I would rather ding a replace cover than the original.
