Looking at Pictures in S4

As I am looking at all the pictures that I have taken, there is a tab on the bottom of my screen that shows all the pictures, how do I get rid of that tab? it becomes annoying when you are trying to look at pictures and you cant see the bottom of the picture.

If it's like the GS3, just tapping on the picture that's displayed (the one you're viewing) will toggle it on and off. Not sure it's the same though.

I'm sure you did but did you try rebooting or battery pull? Mine stays on for 3 secs and turns off, I couldn't find anything to set to make it stay permanent or vice versa. Maybe the function for it to fade is stuck, just guessing.

I use quickpic as well, doesn't solve the problem but bypasses it I guess. However when you're in camera mode and hit the gallery pic it with take you back to the stock gallery. But if you don't access your photos through the camera app then quickpic is worth grabbing.
