Being an iPhone convert, user since 2007's launch, I've never had to worry about batteries. But with the S4, I'm thinking of picking one up since I'm a heavy user (mostly web, facebook, youtube, and photography). I figured 1 for the day, 1 for the night so I don't have to worry about plugging my phone it at work (USB charging seems ridiculously slow).

Do you guys use and keep a spare battery handy?

I use a spare battery, but its because I'm away from the charger for hours on end at a time.

The S4 gets pretty good battery life, but I would recommend the Anker Battery kit from Amazon.

I haven't needed one. The only time I've run out of battery was the day my wife gave birth unexpectedly. I took my phone off the charger at 5am and it ran out sometime after midnight. That was with a lot of texting and calling to give people updates and spending a few hours in a room with very poor reception. Otherwise I normally use 1-2 hours of screen time and end up at 40%-60% of my battery left when I plug it in at night.
