Pretty much every single review has given the one the upper hand

That may be true, but it's pretty obvious that the reviewer is misinformed. I stopped watching the video around 10 minutes in. Overall the One is a much better phone, but the s4 does have it's strong points so it's not a sweeping win for the One. I had both phones. I'd give the s4 a 5 or a 6 out of 10, and the One a 7 or a 8 out of 10. As far as the video goes, there are much better reviewers about these two phones around.

Oh well, I finally got the Samsung Galaxy S4 late in the afternoon yesterday. So far no regrets.
But I have to admit, the whites looked better on my Photon compared to the GS4.
Also, Quickoffice on the Photon 4G worked better than the Polaris Office 5 on this GS4.

But I had decided on getting a new phone and that's what I did!
At the end the GS4 seem to be a better fit for me then the HTC One.
