So my screen always turns on for a few secs when i receive a text msg. This is obviously a problem when the phone is in my pocket. Can someone tell me where i can turn this off? i cant seem to find the setting?

Open the messaging app, click on menu and go into settings, scroll down to notifications and turn off preview message. That should do it.
