Back Speaker Low Suddenly?

I was very happy with the back speaker on my S4 with it's default settings. Today out of nowhere the volume is much quieter. Even at max. In fact I need to tap the volume button up 6 times from 0 to even start to hear a voice during a podcast or any music during a song. At max it's much quieter then when I originally started using the S4.

I went into Sound Settings and adjust my media volume to max and this has made little to no difference. I've restarted the phone with no changes.

I haven't dropped the phone, exposed it to water, etc. Please help. This is a really big deal to me. Thank you.

I am having having the same issue as well. I also have not exposed it to moisture, damaged it in any way etc... it's just suddenly very very quiet
