Hi guys, i use a 2gb sd card on my galaxy s4. I dont use much apps. I use the phone more for work purposes.. usually for appointments and browsing the web. The issue is that i felt the phone extremely overheating.. so i restarted it..(naturally) and when i went through the so little apps that i have.. i found out that Pou and Candy Crush were somewhat missing. Not rraly missing.. just a default icon of android and when i press on the icon it says that the application is not installed. I checked the storage in settings and found out that these two apps were installed on to my sd card. And now i cant move them back to my device memory neither can i access them... any ideas thx.

Unmount SD card, throw SD card in trash, install apps, get SD card with 4 times the storage on amazon for $10. Use Samsung card just to be sure.

Was the card encrypted by chance? And was the reset a factory reset? If yes to both, its toast.

You might try recovering the data on a pc.
