I downloaded the Android System Info app to see all of my system information and under CPU my processor reads: ARMv7 Processor rev 0 (v71). I have a GS4 on Verizon and was wondering if anyone call tell me what this means? Is it the standard quad core processor that's on the S4? Thanks

If you have it on Verizon then you'll have the Snapdragon i9505 version which is the quad core clocked at 1.9ghz.

That is the chipset it is based on and it's revision number. Almost all android procs, are based on Arm chipsets.

ARM is a processor architecture that is licensed out to other companies. So Qualcomm licensees the ARM design in their Snapdragon systems on a chip (SOC's). In other words, they pay ARM to use their processor design in their overall design. That string tells you what revision of ARM processor they're using in this design. Here's a list of ARM microprocessor cores:

Thanks a lot for the replys! It makes a lot of sense now, I used another app and it told me indeed that it's quad-core. I was confused because when I Googled ARM processor it gave me a lot of S3 links
and had me worried that Verizon stuck me with a lesser processor. Thanks for the assurance guys
