Typing bug with update?

Seems like either my typing has gotten worse or something is buggy with the keyboard since the update. I am now seeing extraneous spaces, odd letters etc popping up as I type that I dont recall getting before. Anyone else seeing this or did my thumb just get fatter?

Does this happen when you use the gesture keyboard too?

Was there a separate keyboard for swiftkey before the update? What I have is a toggle switch to turn off swiftkey. I did that and it appears that is what was causing my headache.
