I have read elsewhere that clearing the data from Settings will help. Go to Settings/Apps/All, scroll down to Settings, and Clear Data. Be aware that this will reset all of your settings to default, and you'll need to select them all again to your liking.

Only way to hide it back is to reflash the rom.
