Check: Disable Hardware Overlays, Force GPU Rendering, Enable 4x MSAA

I also have all 3 of my animation scales set to .5x just to make the animations not take as long.

I use the standard screen lock instead of the Light or Ripple effect options, and I use Nova Launcher Prime.

All of this in conjunction quite literally gives me a truly lag free experience.

I found this comment posted on an article I stumbled upon about the top Android smartphones of 2013. Can someone please explain what he meant about the 4MP camera being 12MP??
That guy is a complete 'tard. It's a 4mp camera. An "Ultrapixel" (a term created by HTC, it's not a real thing) is just a made up term to describe the pixels as being physically larger than it's competitors. This means a much larger image sensor than in other competing phones. You get the highest quality pictures when the sensor is able to capture the most amount of light, and a larger sensor with a lower pixel count can do exactly that. That's what makes the One's camera so great in low-light situations, it takes clearer, sharper images with less noise. But, it's still only a 4mp camera. What this means is you really won't be able to zoom in or crop photo's taken with the camera without them looking pixelated. It all comes down to what you use the camera for most and how you typically use it. Both phones have great cameras.

Okay after much research and reading and watching videos on YouTube about the HTC One I decided to take the plunge. I cancelled my S4 order and placed an order for the 64GB HTC One.

My current phone is a 32GB (28GB) iPhone 5; I have 90 videos, over a 1,000 photos, and 109 applications (some I don't even use) on it and I still have 10GB of storage left. So I realized that the additional SD storage which I thought I'd need in the S4 is not necessary after all. As for the camera on the HTC One, I've seen some of the pictures posted here and I thought the camera is actually quite good, not as good as the S4 but it's really not that bad.

I heard the HTC One takes a long time to charge compared to the S4 but I do like the way the black model looks. However, I really like my S4. I'm waiting to see the Note 3. Really excited about the Note 3.

Anyone here regrets getting the 16GB model?

Are you able to store apps on the SD card? I've read people having issues saving apps on the micro SD card which is mostly why I don't want to get the 16GB.
I honestly don't see the need for the 32GB model. Use the 16GB's to store all of your apps, then use the SD card to store music, videos, etc.

That's a good offer they are giving you by including a 32GB memory card for free due to the waiting because that'll end up giving you a total of 64GB of memory, however, like you said, give it another week and if nothing then just move on to the HTC One. You said you needed it by September 8, so do what you need to do.

Yes I've read about that. I'll just have to wait and see for myself

I would've waited for another week but when I emailed them they said that there aren't any updates or progress in regards to finding suppliers that could supply them with S4 units.
