Trouble customizing home screen

Every time I long press an app to move it within the page it automatically moves to the next page to the right. This is kind of annoying when trying to rearrange apps in a folder. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am not sure if there is a fix, as it may be programmed in Samsungs version of the OS. You can try a different launcher. A launcher is a different User interface that changes the way the OS interacts with you, the user.
