Samsung Galaxy S4 Stock Calendar issue

I am wondering if there is a way I can fix the event names (in stock calendar) from being cut off in the month view. So it appears all in one line. For example, Halloween appears as "Hallow" on the first line and "een" on the second line. But when I rotate the screen to a horizontal view it doesn't cut off the event names anymore. It's just annoying to see that's all. I don't mind full words going to the next line but mid-word is annoying. Thanks in advance.

I think it's just the way it is. In landscape the days are wider so it doesn't wrap.

Portrait there's just not enough room so it wraps.

Although Halloween doesn't wrapon my s3, oddly enough.

Thanks for replying. Yea that's what I was thinking as well. I figured that's just the way the app is made. Hopefully they come with some kind of update to fix that.
