Hello all,
I've been using my S4 without any battery drainage problem for many months now. Things have changed in the last few days with very unusual drainage. It seems that my phone never sleeps. I tried to understand the problem, using GSam and Wakelock detector but can't get to the root of the problem. I very much appreciate your input.

Did you install an app just before this happened ?

Have you rebooted the phone ?

If I let the wifi, data and bluetooth activ on my phone my battery is draining fast.

I installed an app last week and my battery was draining like crazy, uninstalled it and came back to normal.

I've had this happen a handful of times in the past few weeks. Just resetting the phone fixes it for a while. It hasn't happened since the Google Search update or since the latest firmware update on Verizon but either could be a coincidence.

I get the same thing. Android OS or Android Applications just running wild. I get all nervous though when I see that as I dont want to do a factory reset on it. However, I just restart the phone and it fixes the issue.

Thanks all for your input...I managed to figure out what was going on..My wifi was always on and I'm aware that this can affect the battery when the signal is not strong but never imagined it can have such a detrimental effect. Here is the result with the wifi off..as its very poor at my office.
