Galaxy Gear and the S4

I have been trying to transfer my data that I have collected on the Pedometer on my Galaxy Gear onto my S Health on my S4, but everytime I do, I get the error that the sync failed, try later. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Works fine here. You should have the watch listed in the phone app as an accessory.

It does have it as an accessory. However, every time I sync the 2 I keep getting the error message. I also noticed that my Gear does not have the "send to S Health" button in the menu like I have seen on some videos. Did I set it up incorrectly?
