    Hi,

Was just checking out my memory on my s4 when I noticed downloads was showing 1.9gb memory usage mainly songs.

If I deleted downloads will it then remove them from my music player?

    Thanks

If you are telling your music player to play the songs from the downloads folder, then yes deleting them will make them cease to work. Unless you have doubles of the songs in another folder that you have moved them too. But that's not what it sounds like. Sounds like you downloaded the songs, and left them there, and are playing them FROM there.
So yes, they would be deleted and no longer in your music player
