I'd like to buy a second-hand samsung galaxy s4.
the vendor tells me that it has 32 Gb internal memory,
but going to Settings -> More -> Storage, it shows 9.25 Gb internal memory.

is that normal?
on samsung's website, it says that User memory is approximately 9Gb,
independently of whether the phone has 16, 32 or 64Gb,
but it seems a typo to me.

is there a way to check whether the phone has 16, 32 or 64Gb?

If you have access to the phone, you can check the memory in the setting section, I believe it is under the device tab. It should tell you the internal and external memory.

Yes, that's what I did.
Settings -> More -> Storage,
there it says 9.25 Gb (which does not correspond to 16 gb, nor 32gb, nor 64Gb),
as explaiend in samsung website.

on Settings -> More -> About the device,
I do not see any information about the memory size.

so, is there a way to check whether the phone has 16, 32 or 64Gb? exactly how?

I have the 16GB S4 & only have about 9.25GB of storage so it's normal. My ex I think had the 32GB S4 as he had 16GB of storage. You won't have the full 16GB, 32GB or 64GB due to all the stuff that's already pre installed on the phone.
