Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but I searched and was unable to find discussion of this specific issue. Yesterday I attempted to replace my busted screen, following this video,

using this part.
Amazon.com: Original Samsung Galaxy S4 IV LCD Display & Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly BLACK (With Frame) For CDMA Models - Verizon I545 - Sprint L720 L720T - US Cellular R970 - Cricket R970C Description change to:Brand new 100% original replacement
After putting the battery back in and attempting to boot up, I had weird symptoms - LED lit up, phone vibrated, back/menu touch buttons lit up, but the screen didn't show anything. I even felt haptic feedback poking around on the screen, but still no picture. Any thoughts on where I went wrong? or if I didn't, any way to determine for sure if the LCD is a dud?
