Insufficient space - not true!

First of all - hello, I'm a newbie to the forum and to android (about 4 months or so now) having switched from Apple.... I'll never go back!

Straight in with a question. I've just tried to download GTA San Andreas. I had more than enough space (I believe it needs 1.9GB and I had 2.5GB free. It got right to the end then said 'download failed due to insufficient space'. However, I can't find it anywhere on my phone yet it is taking up the space as there are only a few MBs left now! Anyone know why or what I can do?

Try rebooting your phone and download again.

I'll give it a try, it's so annoying as our internet is really slow and it's taken about 4 hours to download - right at the end it gives up!
