Hey, i've had my phone for about over a year now. I have never had battery problems, but for a month i have realised my phone will charge quite fast and then drain out quite fast too. Even when i have taken it off charge from 100% and i havent done a thing with it or if i have just texted it will go to 99% and continue going down even if i'm not using it. I don't know whats wrong ?? I also don't want to take my phone to the phone shops in my area as they seem to delete every single thing off phones and mess them up even more. Please help

Welcome to Android Central! So how long does the battery last for a single charge? It would help to do the following:

Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

To post screenshots: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html

You could also just try a new battery, since what you're describing could also mean a failing battery.

Those screenshots are a start, but I meant that you should use the phone until the battery is down to 20% left, then show us the screenshots. It's good to see what the usage is like over an entire battery charge.

It doesn't matter that you've never had battery problems until now--defective batteries can start to fail at any time, so that's still one possibility to consider.

If you don't see the Cell Standby category, then it isn't contributing significantly to battery drain.

Try posting the rest of the screens that I suggested, and we'll see if we can figure it out.
