This has only started happening today.
I was on the phone and it switched off and when I went to switch it on again it didn't. I plugged it in to charge and it came up with it having an empty battery. I didn't see the screen when it switched off so it could have been a shut down due to low battery.

It had 75% on the battery before it died and so that's why I am confused. When I plugged it in and switched it on the same thing happened again with it switching off.

A few hours later again the same thing happend with it killing all battery that there was.

Any ideas what this could be?
I've had the phone since october last year and I have replaced the battery which was about 3 months ago.

Any help would be apreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Batteries can fail at any time if they're defective. You may want to try a new or different battery to see if the same behavior occurs.
