Address Book Contact Pictures Suddenly Pixelated.

So I've had my S4 just about since it came out, and when I checked my contacts this morning, I noticed that the pictures next to their names in the address book are all pixelated. It wasn't like this before, and I'm curious as to what happened. I tried removing the pictures and assigning new ones, reassigning the current pictures, restarting, turning the phone off and back on, and I'm at a loss. It's not the end of the world here, but it is really annoying. They're fine when someone calls, and when I tap them, they're clean, but that almost makes it more irritating...
